Budgeting:
I read scripts (shorts, pilots, features) and write individual production schedules as well as ‘Critical Assumptions’ for each project. From there, I’ll write a prescriptive budget and work through various drafts as creative trade-off’s evolve. I pour all my experiences as a producer into a final budget, schedule, and summarization of what’s needed to see the project to completion. I work on a flat rate for each script based on page number and ambition of the creative (small crew versus large crew or no VFX/SPX versus many VFX/SPX sequences.
For shorter projects, I use tend to use Showbiz budgeting (Media Services) and for more long form projects, I use Movie Magic Budgeting (Entertainment Partners).
Production Services:
With my business entity, Crossing the Delaware, LLC., I am bonded/insured and provide Workmans Comp for all my productions. With years of experience as a production supervisor for very large scale television and film (Tier 1,2,3 films and majors), I have incredibly experienced crew, directors, DP’s, and creatives on my rolodex that can complete your projects on time, on budget, and as creative as imagined.
Consulting/Coaching:
Having been in this business for almost fifteen years, working my way up through the ranks and running both thousand dollar shoots to multi-million dollar shoots, I provide a great mentoring program for those who are just getting started, half-way there, or need particular experience when it comes to line producing and producing. I mentor via phone, Zoom, and work though all the machinations of pre-production. What I can save you in time, money, and heartache is well worth a few booked sessions of advice.
